Happy New Year to you all! I hope you and yours had a very peaceful and happy Christmas.

I must confess to an admiration for all those who can sew, knit, crochet…anything that involves stitching or fabrics. Sadly I’ve always been a bit of a disaster at crafts, but I’d be tempted to have a go at these. Baby bootie making seems to be a bit of a lost art but this funky pattern by fabric designer Heather Bailey brings them bang up to date and it’s free to download. I bumped into a friend of mine over the weekend who was out with her brand new baby boy who was sporting a very snazzy woollen all-in-one. According to my friend they got it as a gift and he’s not been out of it since. I’m not surprised, he looked so snug and cosy.
